Rethymno. Crete, Greece
We are getting married
Our Story
Two people, one introduction, and a story neither of us could have predicted.
What began as a simple introduction quickly turned into countless conversations and shared adventures that felt effortless from the very beginning.
A beautiful proposal overlooking the sea in Brighton led us here, and now we can't wait to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people we love most.
Thank you for joining us in Crete.
With love,
Sarena & Numair
Counting down to forever
In this life, and the next…

Postcards from Crete
From bougainvillea-lined streets and Venetian fortresses to long brunches and late-night gelato, here are a few of our favourite places to explore during your stay.
One of the best things to do in Rethymno is simply wander. The Old Town is full of hidden courtyards, colourful doorways, local boutiques, beautiful architecture and charming cafés tucked away down narrow alleyways.
Theorist Cafe
Nestled in the heart of Rethymno's Old Town, Theorist is one of our favourite places to start the day. Whether you're stopping by for specialty coffee, freshly baked pastries or a leisurely brunch, it's the perfect place to soak up the atmosphere before exploring the winding streets nearby.
If you visit, there's one thing you absolutely have to order: the Eggstasy. It's their signature dish and one of our personal favourites.
Creme de la Creme
After wandering through the Old Town's charming streets, there's no better excuse to stop for ice cream. Creme de la Creme is one of our favourite places to cool off and indulge in a sweet treat.
With a huge selection of flavours and homemade gelato, it's the perfect afternoon pick-me-up.
Overlooking the town and coastline, the Fortezza is one of Rethymno's most iconic landmarks. Built during the Venetian period, it offers incredible panoramic views across the sea, mountains and Old Town rooftops.
Fortezza of Rethymno
We recommend visiting in the late afternoon when the light begins to soften and the views are at their most beautiful.
